I have a passion for academics, art, and athletics. Throughout my college career I have dabbled in each category, thriving in all. I have obtained a lot of interests in my life. This is both a blessing and a curse. I have always struggled to choose a career path to follow, fearing I would be pursuing the wrong interest.

Within my major, writing and linguistics, I am developing my own original poetry anthology. I currently have created and compiled seventy finished original poems, and hope to double that by the end of the year. I have finished and refined several short stories that will be submitted to journals, and am in the process of developing a concept for a novel.

The ultimate goal would be to obtain a job that both offers the opportunity o continue growing as a writer while also being able to be creative. My passion lies in creativity and storytelling.

Upon growing old and retiring one day, I would love to open a bakery and coffee shop nestled in a small town somewhere. I love to bake; the joy that baked goods bring to people is much like reading a good book, and I want to share that.

Moving onward into the professional world, I carry with me strong organizational skills, deductive reasoning, problem solving, creativity, and communication skills. I look forward to finding an atmosphere where those skills are valued and I can develop further as a young professional.
